Sounds of Little Haiti presents the Little Haiti Cultural Walk – showcasing Little Haiti’s deep and energetic pool of creative talent. The event will feature talented musical performances from various Haitian artists, a MUCE exclusive Pop-Up Exhibition and Films sponsored by #SOFLOWEBFEST. Rain or shine, come out and enjoy the best of Little Haiti’s art, music, films, crafts, food and businesses. Bring along the kids for an interactive Kidzone and snacks, courtesy of the City Of Miami and The Little Haiti Cultural Center.  A night of fun, this and every 3rd Friday at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex!

The Miami Urban Contemporary Experience brings “As A Matter Of Black”, a MUCE exclusive Pop Up Exhibition curated by Bart Mervil.  Exhibited works will bring awareness to the achievements, tribulations and aspirations of black American culture and celebrates the individuality found within the cultures food, music and politics. The exhibition serves as an ending to the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the beginning of our celebration of Black History Month.

This UM Pop Up and Play is sponsored by The Yellow Rose Society, a student-led organization at UM that seeks to cultivate, empower and facilitate cohesion among women from all walks of life.
