Sep 26 | The Center For Photographic Art: 2016 Juried Exhibition| Carmel, CA
The Center for Photographic Art will host its 2016 juried exhibition November 12 – December 23. The exhibition will feature 45 single, stand alone, juror selected photographs. Each photograph will have a chance to win a portion of the prizes, totaling $6000. The photographs will be displayed physically during the exhibition, online, and in the exhibition catalog. October 7 | MUCE Now Or Neverland: Urban Uproar Exhibition | Miami
MUCE is hosting its second annual Now Or Neverland exhibition during Art Basel weekend. Urban Uproar is the harmonious sound of city chaos as interpreted by local, national and international artists. These artists will come together to bring you the stories of their cities in Now or Neverland: Urban Uproar. Deadline for submissions are October 7 and exhibition dates are Dec 1-4. Sep 28 | Principle Gallery – Root To Bloom: The Places Artists Call Home | Virginia
Principle Gallery will curating its special exhibition soon, too. The “Root To Bloom: The Places Artists Call Home” exhibition will be taking place in Alexandria, Virginia. The themed exhibition focuses on one’s personal view of “home.” From an isolated studio, open mountainside or bustling city center, artists are encouraged to recreate a piece that resembles a place that currently or previously represented home.
