Here is what you can do with MUCE during Art Basel Miami/ Miami Art Week. MUCE will scratch the needle, drop the beat, and what you will witness is the pure fiyah of Now or Neverland: Ode to Hip Hop art fair. 15 global artist will converge on Little Haiti Cultural Center to represent and reclaim the essence of hip hop. Through their eyes we will witness the global influence and nucleus of a cultural/generational shift.

Here is your itinerary for MUCE and sister company SoFloWebFest events:


Dec 6th, 5pm-9:15pm: Opening Reception: Now or Neverland: Ode to Hip Hop

You will have the distinct pleasure of meeting the artists and taking a deep dive into the minds that created the sacred artwork depicting the legends, and the essence of hip hop. Attendees of the kick off event can also bare witness to web series and short films from the Miami film scene presented by the SoFloWebFest and hosted by Joey Lamar and Dudley Alexis. Followed by the People’s Choice Award ceremony is the Red Carpet interviews, so rock your best kicks.


Dec 7th, 6pm-9pm: Founders Speak + Fashion Show

6pm-7pm: Enter the MUCE Lounge for an after work happy hour with artists and filmmakers presented by SoFloWebFest. MUCE founders Ashlee Thomas and Bart Mervil will dive in a conversation about how people of color can create a platform for themselves. Following the conversation will be a hip hop inspired fashion show by La’Bell Couture.

7:30-9pm: Just a quick drive from LHCC is the 25th anniversary dinner and conversation at Chef Creole Restaurant located at  200 NW 54th Street Miami, Fl.

Dec 8th, 3pm-8:30pm: #Digitalbytes + Guest Speaker: Stacy Ike, Host OWN’s Late Night Live

3pm-4pm: Attendees will engage in new innovations in the film industry with the Digital Bytes segment presented by Gina Margillo (Planned Parenthood) and Jon Herrera and Liz Pasilla (Virtual Reality).

7pm-8:30pm: You will not want to miss Keynote speaker, OWN’s Stacy Ike who will officially kick off the weekend festivities. Serving as the keynote speaker for the 2nd Annual South Florida WebFest, Ike gives the audience the real on her dynamic journey from WebFest Intern, to waitress in Los Angeles, to hosting with the majors, like Oprah Winfrey Network – in less than 6 years.

Dec 9th, 3pm-9pm:  #Digitalbytes + Award Show with SoFloWebFest w/ Comic View’s Chello

3pm-4pm: Attendees will have another opportunity to engage with innovation in the film industry in a presentation by Lashawna Stanley (Ethnicity Models) on how to win in your niche from.

8pm-9pm: The evening culminates with an award ceremony to highlight the winners of the SoFloWebFest 2017, hosted by BET’s Comic View, Chello.

Dec 10th, 2pm-5pm: Closing Brunch + #DisruptIt: Hip Hop + Media Panel

2PM-3PM: SoFloWebFest partners with Now or Neverland Art Fair to present the closing Artist Talk, titled #disrupit about the emerging countercultures of hip hop, film and media. This event is free to RSVP

4-5PM: Wrap up Art Basel weekend with a delicious brunch at Chef Creole Restaurant located at  200 NW 54th Street, Miami Fl for only $12.
